Top Three Book Boyfriends – A Romance Writers Weekly #LoveChatWrite

I confess, I’m a wee bit fanatical when it comes to gushing about my favorite book boyfriends. I mean, one of the best parts about finding a kick ass book–or more importantly, a kick ass hero–is finding someone else you can ohh and ahh about the book with.

Naturally, whenย the RWW ladies whispered the phrase Top Three Bookfriends, Iย wasted no time signing up. ๐Ÿ™‚

So…let’s get down to it, shall we?

Brace yourself, my lovelies. I’m bringing pictures. Muahahahaha

The Professional - Kresley ColeBook Boyfriend #3

Holy freakin’ cow. I had no damned clue what I was in for when I picked this book up. What I got was jaw-dropping, panty-twisting good. I still go back to this book when I’m in the mood for something off the charts and different–particularly when other exploratory efforts have fallen short. This piece of art from Kresley Cole restores my faith in the concept of an alpha male.

Reyes FarrowBook Boyfriend #2

Really…you just can’t diss the son of satan. Talk about your tortured hero. Who wouldn’t have issues if your daddy was the ultimate bad guy. How can you not drool over a guy who sweeps in to save your trouble-prone ass and severs the spine of any fool stupid enough to wrong you?

And did I mention he’s delicious?

Thank you, Darynda Jones. Seriously, just THANK YOU.

Book Boyfriend #1

Undoubtedly I’m gonna make some folks cranky with my #1 spot–mostly because…well…I can’t decide. Don’t shoot me. It’s not entirely my fault. I’m a Libra. When we find a good shoe, bras, or jeans we buy one in every color because we cannot decide.

And, because Kristen Ashely writes the most kick ass heroes (in my book anyway), I must have a three-way tie.ย

Yes, it’s true. It used to be a pretty consistent two-way tie between Kane “Tack” Allen and Knight Sebring, but I just (as in two days ago) stumbled on Dax Lahn, so at the moment I’m a bit tied up in him.

Let me put it this way…

Dax LahnKane "Tack" AllenKnight Sebring

Those are (my interpretation, of course):

Dax Lahn – The Golden Dynasty

Kane “Tack” Allen – Motorcycle Man

Knight Sebring – Knight

All courtesy of the kick ass hero writer, Kristen Ashely.

The best I can tell you on these heroes–at least if you’re anything like me–don’t start a book unless you’re ready to scrap reality and tell you’re family you’re busy. Seriously, her heroes leave me completely distracted…in a yummy way.

So, there! Those are my three…or…er…six, as it turns out. ๐Ÿ˜›

Who are your favorite book boyfriends? Seriously! I’m always on the hunt for new favorites (fickle bitch that I am). If you share your favorites then I have someone new to gush with, so spill already!

Next up on the loop is Kim Handysides. And let me tell ya, I’ve spent more than one night chatting up hottie favorites with her, so there’s no telling what she’s got in store. Have fun making the rounds and thanks for stopping by to #LoveChatWrite!

How come I’ve never read ANY of these??? Where the heck have I been?

I’ve been buried in NA for a while, maybe that’s why. But the latest I read and loved was Cora Cormack ALL BROKE DOWN — they don’t call it the Silas virus for nothing! Just a really good bad boy. And BETTER WHEN HE’S BAD by Jay Crownover… Bax. Okay, really IS bad. I mean just got out a prison and don’t give a flying F*** about it. Yeah, yums….

Have you read Tiffany Snow’s Kathleen Turner series? There are two hot alpha males, each are easy to fall in love with!

I remember when I read part one of The Professional, Kresley was self-pubbing it in installments. I thought to myself “what on earth did I just read? And where can I get part two, like, right now?” Fortunately all three were out, so I devoured them. Being married to a Russian, I know how intense they can be. Aleksandr is a distilled, fantasy version of a Russian hero, but there are a lot of truths in there. When they love you, they’re all in and you’d better be too. LOL! Great list, Rhenna. You just added to my TBR list. I have one for you, though. Undeniable by Madeleine Sheehan. If you haven’t read it, you’ll thank me later. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yep! Read it and really enjoyed it. Have the next one tucked somewhere on my endless TBR. ๐Ÿ™‚ I did the same thing you did on the Kresley Cole series. Thank God they were all three out when I found them.

Um, yeah. You are so my sister from another mister. That is EXACTLY who I picture for DAX! We would be so much trouble if we had our own book club! Kristen Ashley’s boys are always my damn favorites. That lady writes alpha like nobody!
I haven’t read the other ones, so I am adding to my list. If you give them a thumbs up, I know I’m gonna dig them!
